Tom Swinnen graduated from the University of Leuven (KUL) in 2006 and subsequently obtained a Master (D.E.S.) in Economic Law from the University of Brussels (ULB) in 2007, a Master in Corporate Law from the University of Leuven (KUL) and the University of Brussels (ULB) in 2010 and a Postgraduate in Corporate Finance from the University of Leuven (KUL) in 2012.<\/p>\n
Tom is a partner in the Corporate M&A and Capital Markets department of Simont Braun. He advises both international and national (incl. family-owned) clients on corporate and M&A matters. He and his team regularly act as lead legal counsel in complex inbound or outbound cross-border deals and reorganisations. Tom also acts as a \u2018trusted advisor\u2019 for a number of key Belgian clients and families, and is highly regarded for his service-minded and client-oriented style. He regularly speaks at conferences on matters of corporate law and M&A.<\/p>\n
