This paper contains a review of Belgian case law in the field of credit transactionsincluding leasing and factoring, documentary credit and bank guarantees. It also reviews the case law with respect to the use of cheques and of bills of exchange. All Belgian cases rendered in the period 1992-1998 are analysed, reviewed and commented.
