Liselot Vandenberghe

Biography

Liselot Vandenberghe (2000) is a PhD researcher at the Financial Law Institute of Ghent University and at the University of Liège (joint PhD).

Liselot obtained a Master of Laws from Ghent University with great distinction (magna cum laude) in 2023, the same year that she joined the Financial Law Institute.

Liselot was appointed within the framework of the Business Compliance Chair opened at the University of Ghent and the University of Liège, made possible by the Federation of Belgian Enterprises (VBO/FEB). Her PhD dissertation, supervised by Prof. Dr. Hans De Wulf and Prof. Dr. Roman Aydogdu, focuses on the legal issues arising from the in scope and quantity increasing compliance regulation faced by companies.
