Ward Bruneel

Biography

Ward Bruneel (2002) is a Ph.D. candidate and academic assistant at the Financial Law Institute of Ghent University. He joined the Institute in October 2025.

He obtained a Master of Laws (magna cum laude) from Ghent University in 2025.

His research focuses on the legal implications of payment fraud and investment fraud for consumers. He works under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Reinhard Steennot.
